Regulatory & Formulations Manager -Animal Health/Nutrition Products

Our client is a leading player in the animal health and nutrition sector in Ireland and in markets overseas.

It is one of Irelands leading producers of animal supplements and supplier of veterinary medicines.

This is a senior role in the organisation and the position is based in the production site near Cork city

Key Responsibilities

These will include the management of all regulatory aspects in relation to Feed Hygiene and Marketing, Animal By-products and Animal Remedies.

He/she will also be responsible for the design/review of SOP’s and templates relating to regulatory affairs and quality control.

Other duties include internal training on regulatory affairs, feed safety and ensuring all staff are trained in compliance for their specific areas.

You will support the NPD process, update formulations as required, sign off all new formulations and labels and export into ERP.

In addition, you will provide training and support to Marketing and Sales personnel for label design and technical support.

Key Requirements

A B.Sc in Animal Nutrition is essential with experience using formulation software packages.

Experience of working in a feed mill or animal nutrition production environment is desirable as are excellent computer skills are essential
