Development Manager (Embrace FARM)

(Embrace FARM) are recruiting a Development Manager (Part Time Contract) to help grow the charity in line with its strategic plan.

We are aiming to attract someone with the experience, skills and ambition to support the charity at this key development stage.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the operational and fundraising strategies,

driving forward new initiatives to ensure long term growth and sustainability.

Principle duties & responsibilities

-          Develop & maintain partnerships with corporate industry, farm organisations, relevant government departments and other charities

-          Implement & continuously review the current strategic plan with the board of Directors

-          Generate an income stream with key partnerships in the corporate industry

-          Devise and implement a fundraising strategy to secure relevant grants

-          Develop reports and submissions to comply with legislation, regulators, government officials and corporate industry as required

-          Develop a communications strategy to raise public awareness & promote the organisation-         

-          Update the website & social media platforms on a regulate basis

Experience & Skills

It is expected that the successful candidate will have an appropriate third level degree and experience in:

-          Working in a similar environment or position

-          Business or programme management

-          Fundraising and marketing, PR and communications

-          Event planning and people management

-          Excellent communication and  IT skills are required

-          Programme management ,  organisational and people skills

-          Ability to identify income generation opportunities

-          Ability to work independently and to prioritise work areas

-          Driving licence and access to own  transport
