Cait Moroney: CV
Cait is a professionally trained copywriter who is also married to a dairy farmer in Co.Longford. After travelling around the world, Cait studied advertising in Rathmines Dublin IT where she topped the class in copywriting and also won the RTÉ radio writing award.
Cait has worked in many agencies in Dublin including Des O’Meara & Partners, Owens DDB, McConnells, Rothco, Index, McConnells Recruitment, to name but a few. Over the years Cait has worked on many top brands including McDonald’s, Bank of Ireland, Allied Irish Bank, Permanent TSB, Smith & Nephew, Cadbury, Golden Pages and many more.
As a freelance copywriter, Cait has had the opportunity to work in the best agencies in Dublin and work on prestigious accounts. She has also been fortunate to win some international as well as national awards.
On the national scene, Cait has won many awards, particularly for her radio advertising. These include ICAD awards (Best radio consumer campaign), and some Kinsale Shark awards for Cadbury Crème eggs with the famous comedy duo Pat Short and John Kenny.
Cait studied E-Business and Social Media in Athlone IT in 2016 where she received a distinction at QQ1 level 6. This course enabled her to gain critical insight into the world of social media and how it works.
As a copywriter in the midlands and border region, Cait has worked on some well known agricultural and national brands. Her work includes a radio campaign for Champion Milk starring well-known entertainer Paddy Cole and radio advertising work for Univet Ltd.
With a keen ear for humour and a desire to understand the product, Cait manages to produce advertising that is appealing. Her approach is open and direct communication with the client. Her farming background makes all her work interesting and accessible at all times.
Ray Fadden is an award winning Cavan designer who graduated in visual communications from the National College of Art & Design in 1991. Design is the difference says Ray- when it comes to adverts, brochures or any type of artwork, logos etc. He also says that as regards text in adverts, brochures etc -less is best hence his brief resume.
Ray began working in an advertising agency in Dublin in 1992 and three
years later set up his own design business in Cavan.
