Our client Bandon Coop in West Cork are recruiting a plant operator for their modern animal feed mills. The ideal candidate will have an appropriate Agri qualification and a good knowledge of farm equipment and other machinery. An understanding of livestock nutrition would also be desirable.

All 85 million litres of Bandon Co-op’s milk is collected from 500 dairy farms. The Coop also packs and market Kerrygold butter, under franchise from Ornua. Most of the milk supplied is processed by the Carbery group for cheese manufacture. Bandon Co-op manufactures high quality assured ruminant and poultry feed in both cube and coarse format. Produced at UFAS approved mills in Bandon and Kinsale. This progressive Coop has a turnover of €163m + and employs over 360 people.
